Catching up

We left Martinique for Rodney Bay, St. Lucia & celebrated our 40th
Anniversary with a table full of people at Boson’s in Rodney Bay (Just Now,
Leahona, Hameed, R Furst, and Persephany). I had the Pad Tai.
We had Hameed over for Mexican Train Dominoes twice and Trina won both times. We were able to visit with Hans and Hazel on Geode and catch up. Geode sold us the mooring we have in Grenada. We also had lunch with Marie on Mai Tai. Marie and I organized a Wednesday Lady's Lunch at Bay Gardens Resort. We had a great time. We had happy hour on Nirvana a huge catamaran, which makes it a great party boat. We also went to Pigeon Island and had lunch at Jambe de Bois. used their Wi-Fi and got some books. After we checked out of St. Lucia we were able to buy duty free fuel (saving 15%). We had 100 engine hours and bought 37 gallons of diesel fuel. The price has gone down on diesel so it cost us less than usual.
We left Rodney Bay after two weeks and spent the night in Buccament Bay, St. Vincent. The next day we went to Sandy Island, Carriacou. It is a Marine
Preserve and boats must moor there and not anchor. We met up with Smart Move, Second Spray, and Caribbean Dream. We went snorkeling there and it was wonderful. Sandy Island is one of my favorite snorkeling spots. We had happy hour on our boat that evening. That night a tropical wave came through and we were rocking and rolling. It was very distressing for Windy. Now that she is older (10) she gets sick when it is rough.
The next day we went to Tyrrel Bay. We anchored close to shore so that Windy
could get in by kayak. It was a good thing too because the plug to our new
dingy jumped overboard somewhere in our travels to Carriacou. Second Spray came to our rescue and loaned us a dingy plug.
