New Bottom Finished
19 May 2012 | Delaware City Marina
Sunny / dry / slight wind
We started working on the boat on Wednesday and discovered that we didn't need as much time to complete our tasks as normal. However it wasn't long before Don found lots more to do to restore Jubilee to her youthful look. While Don took the cover off and folded it, I washed and cleaned the engine and several bilge areas. Before we left the boat on Wed we had her lookin' lots better.
Because of the screws and nails that protrude from docks in the Bahamas and even our home port, we have to fill all the gouges in Jubilee on both sides. Don is working on this but it may be the hardest job this Spring.
