Mecca
17 April 2012 | George Town, Exumas
windy
Well we have arrived in “Mecca”!!!!!!!!!!! We finally had to depart from our hole at Rudder Cay and start to make it south to George Town. We squeaked our way into Prime Cay, and explored the small lagoon in the center of it. We caught a real nice mutton snapper while at Prime, using a bit of conch for bait. He was delicious!!!!!!!! Someone told us that if you throw out some conch in any Bahamian harbor you would probably catch Mutton, and so far it has been true.
The next day we explored the shallow route down to the Brigs then over to Boysie Cay for an overnight. After a bit of beach combing and picture taking at Boysie, we headed down island for George Town the next day
. There are approx... 118 boats in the harbor, and live TV, life is good
