Tampa we have arrived

GREAT day of sailing. Left Venice at 4 with a stiff se wind. And a good 4-6 foot seas, following us. I samw 9.7 with just head sail and port engine. We did the 54 miles in nine hours. Hold on when you go through John's Pass. Helluva current!!

Back in the ICW today, so slow going. Then missed the last opening before they close for 1 hour by 15 minutes. So we sat for an hour, bummer!

DN Darling NWR

Real nice day!!!!!! Seas were flat but still had 5-10 winds out of the east! Made it up to Ding Darling NWR. Real pretty and quiet. It was a long 53 miles, with a stop for fuel in Marco Island.
