Oranjestad / Aruba

The next morning we set sail for Oranjestad/Aruba. Great Sailing day, surfed the waves with 15 Kn.

Aruba is not set up for cruisers and has not too many anchorages you can use. We anchored at the airport in 6 ft of water.

"Spanish water" Curacao

We left Bonaire on July 19, 2008 for Curacao. We had a good and fast passage in 20 kn east wind. We spend only 1 night at the lagoon "Spanish water". The Lagoon was crowded.
For Customs and Immigration you need to take a taxi or bus.

The guy anchored next to us was living with his 13 dogs on his boat.
