This is our morning view in Playa Coyote, where some of the palapa owners have made pretty elaborate dwellings, complete with thatched roofs, front decks, and yard sculptures.

One rock here has 12 or so resident species of birds, including the ospreys nesting at the top. The pelicans were hitting the water for their breakfast all around our kayaks - driving Sammy crazy.

Looks like Lilly, the 2-month-old beagle that lives at Bertha's Beach Club, has found a friend.
Rebecca is happy everywhere she goes, but this morning seems to be especially good.
