These osprey have a priceless piece of real estate, on top of this crazy rock formation in one of the prettiest bays we've seen. Rebecca said "If I were a girl osprey, I'd pick that nest." We wondered if any of these osprey are snowbirding down from Coeur d'Alene.

There are more than 300 species of cactus in the Sonoran desert - makes you pay attention when you're out for a hike in the flip-flops.
This is our morning view in Playa Coyote, where some of the palapa owners have made pretty elaborate dwellings, complete with thatched roofs, front decks, and yard sculptures.

One rock here has 12 or so resident species of birds, including the ospreys nesting at the top. The pelicans were hitting the water for their breakfast all around our kayaks - driving Sammy crazy.
