Thanksgiving
26 November 2009 | Lienster Bay
Morning started with Dana making (burning!) pumpkin pancakes and
lounging around for bit. Then we made a concerted effort to organize
the boat now that it was just the two of us again. We had a bunch of
cold weather items that should be needed for the forseeable future,
so we stowed these in deep recesses of the boat. Then we motored to
Lienster Bay and tied to another mooring. There was a cay nearby
that we snorkled over to. Apparently, this was Dana's first time
snorkling (!!!), but she enjoyed it. The dive mask she was using
covered her nose which avoided the problem of her breathing
underwater in through her nose. After getting back to the boat and
rinsing ourselves off, we fired up the BBQ and had some sausages and
hot dogs for lunch.
A lazy afternoon was spent making Thanksgiving dinner and catching up
on these notes.
