Passage to Galapagos
24 June 2010 | East Pacific
Not too much more to report. We've had pleasant weather and good winds the last couple of days. As we've worked our way south the winds have turned a bit to be more favorable; right now we are on a direct course for Galapagos... if this holds we won't have to tack. Probably should have worked our way further south when we first left Panama city. Looks like we should arrive in Galapagos 2.5 days from now on Sunday.
Dana has been testing the new pressure cooker and we had a tasty chicken soup the other day and a roast for dinner last night.
After a first few days of Mark having a cold and Dana getting her sea legs, things have gotten better. Dana's back has been sore and she is very frustrated that reading is making her sick and she is getting bored; Mark has been trying to get her to listen to audio books to pass the time.
