Call me Sparky

Nice weather we're having today. Rain, rain all day, more coming tomorrow. I took the opportunity to get some inside projects done, well I ended up with time for only one. We needed a 110v outlet at the salon table for the computer so I ran a new circuit, installed another 15amp breaker on the panel and prayed the power was off when I started to hook everything up. I would have disconnected the whole dock to be sure but the marina might frown on that.
I'm not the most qualified electrician, in fact electricity scares the caulking out of me but, with the help of Nigel Calder and more than a few looks at how the rest of the panel went together, I managed to complete the job. I suppose the whole process would have taken a real sparky less than an hour. It took me six, but when I plugged a fan in the new outlet, it didn't fly off across the salon so I guess it's okay. No sparks, no smoke, no flames. Not bad for an amateur. Pokey's very proud of me. She thinks I actually know what I'm doing, poor girl.
FBH had their annual Labor Day BBQ Saturday night. It was a ball - great food, good company, a DJ and Karioke! Want to hear our rendition of "She's Got a Ticket to Ride" by The Beagles ? - JW, Tim, Rick and yours truly (hold the applause)
