To Beaufort with Alamanda
19 October 2009
Pete
Blackbeard Sailing Club, Thank You. We had a wonderful time.
We tossed the docklines this morning and headed down the Neuse to Beaufort. Our BSC friends, Chuck and Pat on "Alamanda", led the way and we are now hanging on a mooring in Town Creek. In a few minutes, we will pick them up in Poof* and head to shore for a bite to eat, and maybe swap a few lies. Three other BSC boats anchored back up the road in Cedar Creek off Adams Creek but we will all gather again tomorrow evening at Mile Hammock Bay.
The weather was a bit nippy but the sun was out, the wind was up which qualifies as a beautiful day!
