Pete
Another favorable day of currents. We managed 40 miles from Tom Point Creek to Beaufort in 5 hrs flat. Minutes after we landed at the Downtown Marina, it started to pour and visibility dropped to zilch. With Ida in the wings, we will probably be here for a few days. No sense in beating our heads against a wall. Besides, we're in good company and enough of them to have quite a party. Pokey says we're tucked in between big money and bigger money. That's okay except they hogged all the 50 amp power. I was actually glad to have a 30 for a change. Tomorrow morning I'm looking for the biggest main salon for party headquarters. Blackie and Red were very excited about reaching shore again only to run back under the dodger when the rain started. They're just a wee bit spoiled.
