A bit of bad news here. Earlier this week, Max, our 15 yr old schnauzer, my navigator and buddy, was diagnosed with a large tumor in his chest. It did not show in a previous xray just four months ago so it is very aggressive. He is not in distress, but weakening quickly. He gave us almost 16 crazy fun-filled years so we can wait a few more days or weeks for him. For now, he is comfortably sleeping on a pillow at the foot of our berth.

Blackie and Red, our 2 year old mini doxies have settled in well to their new floating home ably running around the deck, barking at ducks, watermen, jumping fish, and whatever else catches their eye (or not). They are giving Max their own special attention. Funny how pets know when others are not well.
