[*7/26/09 - Sadly, my 'navigator', security officer and best buddy, Max, took leave of us on July 6th and joined his old pal Shorty in pooch heaven. [...] He and Shorty will forever be with us in spirit. Blackie and Red are doing an excellent job of filling their absense.]
We started this venture on our Freedom 45 but soon discovered we wanted to live aboard full time vs. returning home to West River, MD. So, we opted for the trawler life. We are now permanent liveaboards on our Defever. When we're not at our new home port Palm Coast, FL, we are wandering back and forth on the ICW enjoying the sights, the places and especially the folks along the way.
