La Laguna, Barra de Navidad, Jalisco, Mexico

Raven anchored in La Laguna

0900 hours
Moved over and anchored in La Laguna in Barra de Navidad with escort sv Pavane. Anchored (twice) next to sv Czarina Mar with Eric and Howard on board and another boat named Raven!
French Baker showed up right away with fresh pastries for breakfast then we all congregated to sv Czarina Mar for a little reunion! Great to see everyone and finally be in BEAUTIFUL Barra de Navidad!! Saw 1 boat drag anchor when the afternoon winds whipped up but a 10-dinghy congregation zoomed in to re-anchored the unattended vessel! Crazy & nice to know there is such a quick response time here (apparently there is an opportunity for daily practice). Steve sv FarFetched dingied over when he recognized us and came aboard for a quick visit! Went into town that evening with our 3 tour guides/buddies for a tour, dinner and drinks (Scott & Ray were out until 2 am)!
