1835 hours - approaching Puerto Maderas/the other side!

Little to no wind and pretty flat seas all day. No wildlife except for a bird or two. 50+ miles off shore due to the curve of the gulf. Autohelms not working again suddenly around 1400 hours. Make another attempt at fixing them before dark. Waves increase later in the day making for a rollier ride.

Extra:	Westsails have an interesting history. They were designed after pilot boats, boats that were made very sturdy so they could spend hours in rough seas. They were over built with fiberglass so they are thicker than most fiberglass boats and are wider (beamier) than most other boats for their length [...] (they have lots of storage). The company that made Westsail's went bankrupt because they couldn't keep up with production and the cost of materials. We all rely on 'Bud' the last Westsail manger who still offers all kinds of helpful suggestions specific to the Westsail and whom will ship out parts - he's an Angel! More
