'I LOVE JESUS' & Matt

11 July 2008 | Bahia del Sol, El Salvador
the Lone Beachwalker
'I LOVE JESUS' & Matt was written in the sand at low tide. So after high tide will Jesus OR Matt know someone loves them? - maybe only if that 'somebody' makes Matt a cake (I don't know if Jesus can eat any cake). Will that somebody love Jesus & Matt after high tide? It was written in English too so not to many Spanish-speaking people here know about these 2 love affairs. It is good to know somebody not only loves someone else but Jesus as well.

I took a very long walk on the beach today. Alone. It was peaceful. I talked to no one. I listened to no one. I watched raindrops from a sun-shower fall into the Pacific Ocean and large & tiny crabs and snails scurry back into the sand after a wave had unearthed them. They each make their own type of pattern in the sand: the larger crabs make a hole with a mound of sand around it - the tiny ones make '3' 1-inch-long lines while the snails make a single curved 'S' shape.
There's a place down the beach a bit where a bunch of sand-dollars live under the sand. You can only tell at low tide AND if you don't mistake their 'sand pattern' for a dog paw print or a really heavy butterfly imprint.

Thankfully there are no 'beach salesmen' here so no one bugging me to buy another bracelet or necklace or beach toy or shirt or hammock or blanket or sun dress or hat or flip flops or a time share or, or, or....
