As I crested the 4th hill of the highway driving north to Red River I notice the rain looked different: suddenly the drops we larger and white! Oh right, that's not rain it's SNOW!! Luckily it wasn't sticking on the road just the sagebrush. The cars traveling south had small piles of snow on their hoods and roofs too. I must be gaining some elevation! It reminded me that usually this time of the year for the past 4 years we would be heading south to Me-'he'-co but we are here to stay. There are some things about our previous lifestyle I did really enjoy, but any lifestyle is a series of advantages and disadvantages, ya know.
