Wrapping it up!

Monica
We are wrapping up this visit as we prepare to head over to the Caribbean for the holidays then to Disney World for my birthday and New Year’s Eve. We are meeting up with our friends Jeff and Cheryl at Miami International Airport on Saturday morning for bloody marys then hopping on a flight to St Thomas where we will then take a ferry to Tortola for our charter boat experience. So the answer is no, we are not bringing our boat. Scott Free will stay tied up to her slip 415 at Marina Palmira where we will see her again the end of January or first of February.

We’ve been planning this vacation with Jeff and Cheryl for two years and it morphed from going to Italy to somewhere tropical. We had to make a slight adjustment this summer learning that the first grandbaby will be born in January. While we fly home for the arrival of Jackson Jones they head over to Belize for a 10 day dive vacation. Truly a vacation of a lifetime for them! We are so excited to vacation with these dear friends!

We’ve been busy, a very busy social life down here! Sunday we went to brunch with a group of friends to celebrate Sharon’s birthday. The photo is of the group after indulging in a wonderful brunch at Palermos and many glasses of champagne. Tonight is dancing at Ciao Molinas and then tomorrow, our last night, I’m sure we’ll find something to do, probably involving going out to dinner as I’ve been working us out of food on board and I can maybe do breakfast and lunch tomorrow but that is about it. Not to worry, there are lots of great restaurants here in La Paz and many friends willing to dine out with!
