We are the proud owners of S/V Sequoia, Outbound 44 hull #5, built for us in Shanghai, China in 2001. In 2003-04 we crossed the South Pacific to Australia; in 2008 we sailed to Glacier Bay and back -- those voyages have been archived and are no longer available. [...] In 2017-2019 we shipped Sequoia to Europe, cruised the Baltic and west coast of the Continent to the Canaries, across the Atlantic, through the Caribbean and Panama Canal, finally shipping her home from Costa Rica. Our present voyage is up the inside of Vancouver Island and finally back home to Oregon in September, 2023. In our other lives, we're both musicians, members of Newport Symphony Orchestra, in Oregon. We're both retired from our day jobs -- Craig as an engineer with Nike (of shoe fame) -- and Barbara as an attorney with the Hillsboro, Oregon firm of Brisbee & Stockton.

We care about the world and its people, and try to live responsible lives, mindful of ourselves, the places we travel to, and the people we meet.
