Hola!

Our stay in San Diego is coming to a close. As we will be heading to Mexico, we will be putting our phone and iPad service on hold, so we'll be incommunicado for a couple weeks. The plan is to pick up Mexican service when we get to Cabo or La Paz. Once we have service up and running again, we'll let you know any new/different contact information.

We are leaving Monday morning with the Baja Ha-Ha Rallly, a two-week cruisers rally from San Diego to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. There are 172 boats registered this year, so should be interesting sailing with such a large group!

There are three legs to the rally, with layover days in anchorages between:
San Diego to Turtle Bay: 360km - Two nights at sea
Turtle Bay to Bahia Santa Maria: 240km - One night at sea
Bahia Santa Maria to Cabo: 180km - One night at sea

The rally ends about November 4th, and then we'll head up to La Paz, with a stop along the way to meet up with John's brother Bob at his place in Cabo Pulmo.
 Cabo to La Paz: 148km

We'll spend a month in La Paz, mid November - mid December. Mathew & Liz, and Renai will be joining us for a week at Thanksgiving. Can't wait to see them!
Mid December we will cross the Sea of Cortez and spend some time along the mainland west coast before deciding what we'll do next! We'll keep you posted the best we can.
 La Paz to Mazatlan: 230km
 Mazatlan to Puerto Vallarta: 175km
 Puerto Vallarta to Manzanillo: 175km
 Manzanillo to Z-town: 190km
 Z-town to Acapulco: 115km

Vientos favorables a mis amigos (Fair winds my friends)!
