Bahia Herradura

20 July 2011 | Herradura
sunny
Wednesday morning we got up early and motor sailed to Bahia Herradura.
This little bay is home to the Marina Suenos which is a high end fishing operation. We are anchored outside the marina taking advantage of WIFI thanks to 5 mile Wifi antenna.
Tomorrow and tomorrow night we will travel to Drakes bay farther south down the coast of Costa Rica, then on to Golfito
The attached picture is of an unlikely craft we saw at the last stop. It appear to be completely home made out of local wood. It is powered not by sails but by two 50 hp outboards. The hull is very narrow but there we two fellows aboard who spoke European accented English. Anyone can go cruising just have to choose the boat for you.
