Leaving Banderas Bay

Mark
After what seems like forever, we are finally about to head South out of Banderas Bay towards Chamela, Tenacatita, Melaque, and Barra. All of these bays are relatively close together so we can pop back and forth between them for the next month or so.
La Cruz, where we have been based for the last several weeks, has been a great anchorage, but it is starting to feel a bit old - a big reason to get moving South.
From now on we will not be near any major Mexico tourist destinations. Free internet may be harder to come by, but the price for beer will go down, and the charm will go up!
We motored up to Punta de Mita today to make water, do laundry, and get the boat ready for the short passage. We'll leave late Wednesday afternoon for the overnight sail, past Cabo Corrientes, to Chamela. Hopefully there is some wind, but not too much as we pass one of the big capes on this coast.
