Not Losing My Mind... Really

It may look like I am either extremely narcissistic, or have had one to many Tequilas and have turned into one of those loco gringos that aimlessly wander around down here in Mexico. Actually, both may be true, but it is not the reason behind this post.
As we wait for this "last" storm to pass by, I'm completing the testing of all the systems on the boat. Today, I'm testing our satellite communication system.
This blog post is sent through the wifi system on our boat to the email server on our Iridium Pilot satellite intenet system. Then, it travels to space to the nearest Iridium satellite, back down to earth at Iridum headquarters, and off to GMN our satellite system provider. From there, a blog post is remotely sent to Sailblogs.com where I hope this appears! Sailblogs then sends this to Facebook. By the time that you read this, these few bytes are very well travelled!
The picture is just a small sample of the many emotions that I go through trying to get all of this electronic crap to work properlyÉ

Yelapa is a small village on the South shore of Banderas Bay, near Puerto Vallarta. Unless you own a hummer, is only accessible by boat which gives it a nice laid back vibe

Manzanillo is a huge commercial port between Puerto Vallarta and Zihuatanejo. Not that much tourism here which makes it a very authentic Mexican city

Isla Isabella is an island about 20 miles offshore Mexico, between Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. it is a nesting ground for a number of sea birds and has been the subject of several documentaries. The birds and lizards on the island have no fear of humans.

"Speakeasy" is a 2007 Manta 42 MKIV Catamaran. We purchased her in 2013 from the original owners. Manta's come fairly well equipped from the factory for offshore cruising. We will be adding the rest of the necessary equipment.
