Swimsuit Weather!

Anchored in Yellowbank Anchorage around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Becca and I immediately stripped off all the layers we had on and put on our swimsuits; the first time they've seen the light of day in quite a long time! KC and Kris put on swimsuits and swam to shore with their snorkel gear! It was great being able to soak in the sun and the warmth.
Yesterday was a great day. We were able to fly the light air sail all the way from San Miguel Island to just after we rounded the Southern tip of Santa Cruz Island. It was a shock to start seeing lots of day boaters from the mainland which is approximately 12 miles East of Santa Cruz Island (Ventura/Oxnard), we're so used to being the only boat out here. KC and I hope to come back to Santa Cruz Island this next year to kayak some of the caves that dot its coast. We had no idea they were here, nor of their abundance, and the ability to anchor near them!
Saw all sorts of seals on our way out of Cuyler Harbor, leaping out of the waves like dolphins do to check on us and saw 3 Pilot Whales which we've never seen before! Becca and Kris got to visit with about three pods of dolphins that came by the boat! Unfortunately they didn't stay long, but still fun to see! While pulling anchor this am saw jelly fish around the boat, the cloud type, ones with red/gold centers and best of all the tiny blue ones that glow.
