With our trip to Mexico now just 16 days away, the crew of THIRD DAY are busy making final preparations. First Mate Amy and Boson Jason did their part for dingy motor security today. Our brand new Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke outboard now sports a new coat of "anti-theft" paint. It can't be seen in the photo, but some glow in the dark paint was added just to spice things up. They wanted to take their paint brushes to my new Walker Bay Genesis RIB, but I had to draw the line somewhere! The dingy will be protected by a nice stainless steel cable, but I may let them paint up the Sunbrella dingy chaps that Admiral Lori keeps threatening to make with that blasted sewing machine that has been sitting in my kitchen for way too long!

After years of dreaming, we are finally ready for the Baja Ha ha Cruisers rally from San Diego, Ca to Cabo San Lucas, MX. After finishing up some final refit items in the Ventura Harbor Boat Yard we are now sitting in Santa Barbara harbor waiting to head south and meet up with our fellow Ha ha'ers in San Diego. We still have a "to do list" that we will work on in the next few weeks before we start working our way to San Diego.
