Trapper, warm and sunny with a breeze
Been a great stay here. Presently housesitting for my sister and Bro in law in their very nice home in the Eugene hills.
Went to a friends house last night for a luau -- homemade sweet & sour ribs, kalua pork and all the sides. We played a lot of Hawaiian music and stuffed ourselves. I play with these fols at a kanikapila here in Eugene and cannot believe how many Hawaiian's there are here.
Getting long bike rides down the really great trails they have here -- a lot of them and all very scenic.
Tomorrow night we have the Eugene bluegrass jam which is always fun.
To Depoe Bay on the coast for a week on Wed. where I hope to play music with my friend Michael Dane and see my friends, Hagsters and Hagettes. Also hit Mo's in Otter Rock for clam chowder / slumgullion -- the best I have ever tasted.
