On the Road Again

Well, Trapper is back on the road again -- this time in his trusty 1971 VW camper (478000 miles) heading north to OR and WA. A great run so far with the exception of LA traffic. Running like the finely tuned German racing machine that she is:)
Hung around San Diego an extra day to spend one more day with Bear and play music with my friends at our Wed. night jam of Emma's Gutbucket Band. BIG fun!
Spending tonight at my good friend Charlie McCoy's place in Buellton -- good meal at Tres Rose's as always. Always good to see Charlie -- a great guy!
After breakfast tomorrow I will continue on to Morro Bay then up Big Sur -- hope to camp up there somewhere tomorrow night. Will stay on Hwy 101 or Hwy 1 for the rest of the trip:)
Have made contact with several other dobro players thru the internet and will be playing music with them as I pass thru. I am travelling with my James custom rosewood / curly maple resonator guitar / dobro. Very cool:)
Check back for updates and be sure to check out the cool interactive map to the right ....Be safe, be well, be happy.
