HARD AGAIN
31 May 2009 | City Boatyard
After a long wet and stormy spring, we (captn Larry and I) finally found a window to haul and paint the bottom.
Aside from a FEW GROUNDINGS she was amazingly clean for all her years of emersion. Only a remnenance of blue antifouling remained
but the hard red looked fine. After some minor scraping and ten or so
blisster repairs, two more coats of hard red, some hard blue then two
coats of ablative blue. I removed and serviced the seacocks, speed wheel and transducer. With a new zink in the water she went.
Seven days total.
