Missed post from last week.

It looks like we will be here a bit longer than we thought. I brought back some vinyl and plexiglass for one of our friends here in Grenada and he hasn't been able to get the money to pay us back. I spoke with him today and he promises us he will have it in a week(Friday of next week)so we will be here just a few days longer than we had planned. It just allows us to get a few more projects done before we head up the islands.
We dinghied over to Spice Island Marina to do laundry later this morning. Costs about $9.00EC or $3.33US for a wash and the same for a dry. At$6.66US per load, it's the cheapest on the island we have enough found. Secret Harbour Marina runs over $11.50US per load bit they fold it too. For the additional $5.00, I can fold my own clothes.
It appears we will be hunting for new sheets. Our last two sets are starting to tear and just wear out. I brought them back with me from the US several years ago and all the washing they've endured has just done them in. We may be able to nurse them along for a few more months as Grenada isn't the place to look for new sheets. It's another product that they add tons of taxes too. The hunt starts tomorrow as we will be on the shopping bus again.
We joined another group of 7 and hiked out to Azizas restaurant for dinner first time we have grind eaten out in a while and the latest we've been off the boat in a long while. Not back on board till after 2000 hours. We still made sure to pull Puff back on board though.
I took some time this afternoon and sanded down the end of our $100batten. It's to thick to fit in the batten cars on our main sail. Now we have to see if it fits or do I need sand it down more so it will fit. he. I should find out in a day or so.
The picture today is more of our stash of food posed on our table for organizing and back into storage.
