For those of you that are just finding our blog, we have been posting at svzephyr.blogspot.com(no www is needed) for the past 18 months, ever since we moved on board our boat in Newport, Oregon. There you will find all the good, bad and horrible that we have gone through getting Zephyr ready for her big adventure. We bought our 1982 Shin Fa 458 cutter in Birch Bay, WA just over two years ago and moved on board at the end of April of last year. Since then we have been either working on her or moving from place to place learning as we go.
For an education on what it takes to make a boat right and ready ofr etended cruising, give our old website a try. It will be an education for those of who think that being on a boat and doing full time cruising is "living the dream". Many times, it is living the nightmare.
I've got to end now as I'm about to be logged out by the server.

We're just getting started on Sailblogs but have been blogging on Blogspot for the past 18+months. If you want to read what it has taken to get us to this point after all these months, go to svzephyr.blogspot.com.
Now we are ready to leave the good old United States for Mexico to continue our adventure. Once we are in Ensenada, I'll add more to our story and our adventures.
Stay tuned.
