Short and bitter

Cold, that is, with morning temperatures below freezing, and very windy. We spent less than an hour moving the boat today, and half of that was circling waiting for the Bridge of Lions to open. But in the short time while we were crossing the bay, we had winds of 30 to 35 knots with gusts to 42 causing us to heel 15 degrees under bare poles.
We are now docked at the Municipal Marina in St. Augustine, where we are within easy walking distance of the downtown sightseeing areas. We have clean clothes and substantially more food aboard.
There are several boats docked or moored here that we have met before in our travels, so it has been fun to say hello and trade stories.
The photo is the cannonball jellyfish that Evelyn and Leslie threw back to the water in Cumberland Island. It is a nonstinging jellyfish, but they didn't touch the tentacles just in case.
