Dawn to dusk

A day of pure, unrelenting motoring made remarkable only by our first manatee sighting. It was sunrise when we left our anchorage and we crept into the Peck Lake anchorage at dusk. The cool thing about Peck Lake (really just sort of a wide spot in the ICW) is that it is separated from the ocean by only a very narrow strip of land: We can hear the breakers on the beach and the're only supposed to be a foot or two high! We're thinking to spend a couple of nights here and explore the beach tomorrow. Right now, dinner smells too good to keep writing!
