Successful voyages are made possible by spending time on unglamourous details...Today was one of those: We rented a car to make getting around easier and Anne and Leslie did a major re-provisioning (our first since the Soo) and 5 loads of laundry. Meanwhile, having accumulated 100 hours of engine time since our departure, Colin and Evelyn changed the oil and oil filter, replaced the air cleaner, and cleaned the fuel filters. I also got three of the four fans I brought installed. It is swelteringly hot (first time I've said THAT this summer!), Even the NOAA meterolgist described the local air mass as a soupy mess! Tomorrow promises more of the same, with violent thunderstorms as an added feature...We're planning to stay here another day to finish up our boat projects and let the storms go away. The picture is of Evelyn and Leslie sitting on the foredeck as we approached the end of Lake Huron a couple of days ago: This is a good place to refit, but it's not very photogenic.
