Musha Cay to Georgetown
22 December 2010
Howard
Left the anchorage at 0730 hrs to go thru Cave Cay cut at slack tide, very light winds and a bit of a Northern swell pushing us along. We fished as we were going and had several hits but only managed to bring three to the boat, one was a barracuda that we definitely didn't want as they carry Ciguatera poisoning plus they have very sharp teeth, luckily it came off the hook easily, the other two fish were Dolphin or Dorado that we wanted but got away, we had one almost in the boat but our landing net is way to small and only a portion of the fish was in, the fish shook the hook out and jumped out of the net, the other Dolphin escaped while we trying to get it into the net also, we definitely need a bigger net or else a gaff hook. Arrived at Georgetown at 1430 hrs and anchored not far from Kidd's Cove, it's close to the stores and we want to do some shopping tomorrow, spend a quite night at anchor
