Happy New Year

Club Thompson Bay Inn.
Took the dinghy to the beach and walked along Queen's Highway to Hillside Grocery, we needed a few things and a excuse to get off the boat, it was a longer walk than we expected and getting use to vehicles driving on the left side of the road takes a little time, it startles you at first to see a vehicle speeding along towards you on the wrong side of the road than what you expect. Picked up some more fuel from town, we plan on leaving here on Sunday for the Jumentos Cays and then on to the Ragged Islands, we'll be getting real close to the Coast of Cuba but our insurance won't cover us to go there plus we don't have any charts, maybe we'll try some time in the future. We won't be close to civilization as people are few and far between so it may be awhile before we update the blog. This evening we went to dinner at Club Thompson Bay Inn with about 15 other cruisers for new years eve, lots to eat and a lively conversation, it's a small establishment with only a few tables and a bar, the food was laid out and you served yourself, we got back to the boat around 9 pm which for us is almost bed time so we slept the old year out and woke up to a brand new year.
