view from the boat at Marsh Harbour
We now have winds from the South at 15 to 20 knots and our protection is starting to fade, we weigh anchor at 830 am and head to Marsh Harbour, a distance of about 9 miles, the anchor is down again by 10 am. Marsh Harbour is the big city of the Abacos, it’s a large harbour with good protection and good holding, lots of boats here with some staying the entire season, pretty much anything that you may need can be found here, the supermarket was the largest and best supplied we have seen since leaving the states. We met another couple while in town and went for drinks and some bar food at “Curly Tails”, we had been hoping to go to a restaurant but everything was closed because it is Sunday, a good time was had and we returned to the boat just before it got dark
