We made it; we are now in the Bahamas. The good weather window arrived on December 7 and we departed West Palm Beach at 1 am along with lots of other boats, the crossing was uneventful, we don’t usually like sailing at night but the moon was up, winds were light and the seas were down so it was good for traveling, we arrived at Great Sale Cay a little after dark to anchor with a dozen or so other boats, of course about 2 am another weather front moved in bringing with it high gusty winds, we were now safely anchored so it didn’t matter much to us.
