The weather is suppose to remain good for the next several days so at 7:30 am in 10-16 knot Easterly winds we departed Black Point, we are taking the back way to get to the Jumentos which means the way less traveled and is more remote, few people take this route as it is through shallow waters, there is nothing much out there and you are pretty much on your own. The first day we traveled 43 miles to anchor off of Rocky Point, a small uninhabited island, what a beautiful night we spent, there was hardly a breeze, with almost a full moon and what seemed like thousands of stars it was a very bright and peaceful night. Next morning with hardly any wind we motored, by way of the Green Turtle Cut, 23 miles to anchor off of Sandy Cay, we arrived before noon and spent the afternoon exploring the snow white sandy beaches and dry sand flats, we found a few shells to add to our collection but saw nothing else, not even a foot print. Next morning we depart for Flamingo Cay in the Jumentos, with 10-15 knot Easterly winds we sailed most of the way and after 36 miles arrived at 2 pm
