Little Ragged Island

18 January 2012 | Little Ragged Island
Howard
About 9 miles south is Little Ragged Island, we went there for a couple of days but it is not a popular spot because most times a swell comes in making it uncomfortable with the boat rolling from side to side. We like it thou because the beaches see very few people and you never know what you may find. A wooden boat from Haiti is washed up on one of the beaches and is still intact but probably won’t be for long, there have been boats loads of refugees come here only to be sent back after being discovered, and it’s a very inhospitable place with only rock, sand and brush, can’t imagine why they would chose this place, maybe because it is so isolated or because they didn’t know any better
