Well January just blew right by us. Fred and I flew home at the middle of January to take care of some things at home; to see my mother; and to go skiing up in Lake Tahoe with our friends Claudette and Bob Vincent. Heavenly is well named! We had a glorious time skiing, eating and playing games. The Vincent’s had seven of us in total at the condo and 4 of the 7 were EXCELLENT cooks – wow, the food was amazing. Fred was the designated hmmmm, dishwasher doesn’t sound good enough. . let’s say he was the official “Dish Machine Engineer”. And I was one of the excellent cooks – JUST KIDDING! I was the “Let’s Play Games!” girl.

We flew in and out of Cabo San Lucas on Spirit Airlines. The fare was fair, but Spirit charges for everything and I mean everything including water onboard.

It was wonderful to arrive back in La Paz after the 3 hour bus ride from Cabo and to step onboard Tapatai where our friends Bill and Sue from Sun Baby Two had arranged a cozy “welcome home” for us. So not too much else to say for now as the Camp La Paz routine has resumed: Morning Net, Cruisers Coffee, Cards, Games, Chores, Activities, Exercise, Movies, Cocktails, Dinner (preferable out), Mexican Train, Bunk, Nighty Good. We hope that the winds die down soon and we can get out to the islands, they are beckoning us.
