Agua Verde Day 3

We had a calm and restful night and awoke to another patented beautiful Sea of Cortez morning. Had a lazy day and Penny and I took a dinghy ride over to the outer anchorage where we cruised along the rocks looking for sea life and all we saw were rocks, but, all of a sudden a big rock started to move! Wow; how does that happen? Then I looked closer and it was a pod of rays, looked like 50 or so about 2 feet of wingspan. They stayed grouped together and moved around slowly. Then we saw a second pod about the same size. Other than that we have not seen much sea life yet. This morning after we check in with all the radio nets we will weigh anchor and start heading north to Puerto Escondido where we expect to stay for a few days. Looks like we will rent a car for a few days to go to Loreto to do laundry and restock some provisions (read Oreo's) and generally explore the area and take a few hikes. Then we flip a coin and probably out to Honeymoon Cove on Isla Danzante and further North until we start to head back to La Paz. While listening to the Sonrisa net this morning they gave an update on the conditions at Puerto Escondido; no fuel, no hot water in the showers, no paper towels, no toilet paper, situation normal. I guess the change of ownership has not happened yet. What they need is a good property manager!
