Nice restful night in BSM and a great chicken dinner with the chicken excellently prepared by Brent. Got beat again by Liz in cribbage so the scores stands at 4 zip. Got to change my strategy.

This morning Gregg, Brent and I worked on them water maker and installed a new membrane. Job went well with 3 novices and when started, water began to flow. We have to run it for 2 hours to get the preservative out of the membrane or drinking the water too soon will cause gastric distress. Can't have that so we are following directions.

The beach party is on so into a panga and off to the party. Fish or shrimp plate for $15 usd or fish and shrimp for $20. Beer for $3.00 or 2 for $5, but it was Bud Light or Corona Light. No water or cokes so I was forced to have a Corona Light, first in 8 years. Tasted just like the NA beer I drink. Lots of folks and kids having a good time and the band was loud and good. The kids were having a ball on the beach so all was good.

Headed back to the boat to lay in the sun and start a new book and a swim and wash. Doesn't get much better.

We take off tomorrow at 0700 for Cabo 180 miles south. Vance has apparently gone ashore south of Mazatlan and is a non issue for us. Wind may be light tomorrow but we will persevere!
