Travel with Taransay Mhor
Continuing our Round Britain sail in 2013. Cruising from the West coast of Scotland clockwise towards the south coast. We hope to take Taransay Mhor to her namesake in the Outer Hebrides and visit The Orkney Islands on our way.
Profile for Travel with Taransay Mhor

Crew: Sandi and Colin
Hailing Port: Portsmouth, England
About: For many years we have juggled jobs with upgrading our boat, working towards our aim of being able to cruise full-time. When we bought Taransay Mhor eight years ago the dream became a plan. 2012 was the year the plan became a Life. After topping up the kitty working over the winter we are out cruising again in 2013. Colin has an interest in photography & Sandi enjoys writing, we have been published in the magazine Practical Boat Owner and will soon appear in Cruising World.

Extra:
Taransay is an island on the wild atlantic side of the Outer Hebrides, found off the west coast of Scotland.

In the Celtic language, the attachment of the word 'mhor' to a name was often used to indicate that a person or place was considered great or honoured.
