New Crew

Hi All,
I arrived in Denerau at 1500 on Thursday to lovely fine weather and Taranui sitting just off the marina. Previous crew dropped off and I was on. We waited for Marty and left Denerau at 2130. We had a beautiful motor across to Musket cove arriving at 0030 Friday morning. Wind at that stage only about 3 kts.
Saturday morning the wind rose 20kts gusting 29 kts - still beautifully warm.Tony rowed us in after our morning swim and introduced us to all the fleet sitting at the marina - half are there and half out on moorings like us. Musket Cove has expanded greatly since I was last here about 30 years ago!!
Next was lunch on Sirius - beautiful pizzas made by Jules in a great galley.
Then a slow afternoon and in for a drink at the $5.00 bar and dinner at Dick's restaurant.
I have put some photos up in the photo gallery and will try and load more today before we leave tomorrow. Hoping to get away early if customs will let us.
Tony is going to practice with the remote logging today so there should be another blog this avo.
