Plans are at the moment to spend a few weeks on a shakedown cruise westward ( as some of you may know I have a outstanding desire to get to the Scillies... We failed for 5 years in our power boat, so hopefully this time Tarians trusty sail power will get us there ), then with a bit of luck across the channel sometime in early Sept

I spent the weekend fitting a new wind genny as well as a dual wind and sun charger, so we now have free power!!! Well as long as the sun shines and the wind blows we do! :-)

Also the admiral got me to change the shower and taps in the heads so we now can let our friends use both without the deep shame of a corroded shower hose and old fashioned taps!!!...it's a weight of my mind!! :-)

Tarian is now loaded down with so much stuff I think we will need at least a F7 to get her moving... I think we may be off loading along the way

Off now to start packing up the house

After 18 months of planning, selling Baleout (sports cruiser), buying our first sail boat, selling the house (nearly, should exchange this week), buying a small house to keep us on the ladder - we will be finally off on our adventure of a lifetime soon! Have driven Stu mad with packing, planning, lists, more lists - hopefully the time for chilling will be here soon. Just a few more weeks and we will be off. Looking forward to packing up work, after 26 years of working my arse off, its now our time, not work time!
