First Sail of the season - dodging the rain clouds
03 June 2017 | Padenarum
Some sun. Big Rain clouds. Wind West 9-12 knots
After a long, cold, wet spring that delayed the sail we motor sailed around to Padenarum and picked up the launch.
Had dinner with Calum and Yole and her parents, slept on the boat and started early. Filled the boat with 14 gallons of diesel (should last a season or more).
It was forecast to pour with rain in the afternoon, but we luckily sailed around the storm clouds and made it to the mooring dry.
The Garmin gWind isn't working. After much futzing with the NMEA2000 have decided the problem is at the top of the mast.
