The Collins' recommended we try Padanarm on our way back home. It was a great recommendation. Lovely river with a charming yacht club: New Bedford Yacht Club.
$50 for a mooring as a guest for the night. Decent pub (the Sailloft) next door. Ice cream shop for the heat and a decent breakfast place the following morning. Harbor Master very promptly pumped the holding tank for free and hte NBYC launch drivers were fun and fast.
