Ross, Niki and I had planned a sail over to East Greenwich but just past the bridge the jib came down. The halyard shackle had come loose.

Almost certainly related to the mess with the massive spin wrap we had off Newport last week.

Returned to the marina where Ross winched me to the top of the mast (with Niki using the Spin halyard as a safety). Pretty windy up there in 20 knots of breeze.

Anyway - back in action. Went for short sail around Mt. Hope bay to check everything out.
