Well, it was a light wind day yesterday so we were able to get the lapper back on the roller furling. It sure is nice having our big sail back and in operation. It took quite a bit of time with the left over swells and the wind making it challenging. This is the first time I really wished that we had a hanked on forstay instead of the roller furling. Now that it's up and running though, as usual, I love it! The wind dropped down to 3-6 knots during the night so we didn't make much progress, but at least we have been able to get farther east. Today we will work on getting an alternate fuel line system to get our fuel from the jerry cans. Hopefully we will at least be able to motor through the reefs and into the harbor. All is well on board With these calm winds we are able get a few things done and hopefully we will still close in on our distance. We have about 430 miles to go.
